Privacy Policy

This written policy (the “Privacy Policy”) is designed to tell you about Wealth Media Distribution, LLC (“Wealth Media” or “we” or “our”)’s practices regarding collection, use, and disclosure of information that you may provide to Wealth Media via www.wealthdistro.com  and our mobile and desktop apps (collectively, the “Platform”). Please be sure to read this entire Privacy Policy before using, or submitting information, to the Platform or any component thereof.

Your Consent

This Privacy Policy sets forth Wealth Media’s current policies and practices with respect to nonpublic personal information of the users of the Platform. By using the Platform or any component thereof, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. Whenever you submit information via the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Wealth Media has created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the protection of our user’s personal information. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Platform.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PLATFORM.  BY USING THE PLATFORM OR ANY COMPONENT THEREOF, YOU SIGNIFY YOUR ASSENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT ASSENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may collect information that identifies you, such as names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone or other identification (“personal information”), when voluntarily submitted by the users of the Platform. We receive and store any information that users choose to enter through the Platform, including any submissions that a user creates or other content a user may provide on or through the Platform or through outside social media promotions that we may sponsor.

Use of Information

We may use the information we collect in the following ways, among others:

  • Facilitate a user’s access and use of the Platform
  • Respond to user support requests
  • Respond to user questions and concerns
  • Send users communications or advertisements
  • Improve the Platform or its services
  • Personalize user experiences
  • To protect against fraud, and insure confidentiality and data security

Sharing of Information

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties without first providing you notice and the choice to opt out.

We may provide your personal information to agents or service providers acting on our behalf for limited purposes. For example, we may share personal information with our agents or service providers to send you email on our behalf. These third parties are authorized to use your personal information only to perform the service they are providing for us.

We may also share your information for the purposes of protecting against fraud, and insure confidentiality and data security.

Additionally, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or similar legal process served on us or on the Platform) and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, and/or respond to a government request. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including meeting national security or law enforcement requirements.

In the event Wealth Media goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

IP ADDRESS

We log all connections to our web servers. Those log files include your IP address. An IP address is NOT personally identifiable information, but general information about your location, connection to the Internet, and your Internet Service Provider. We will use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Platform. Additionally, we will use your IP address to track your use of the Platform and we may use your navigation history in current and future marketing efforts to you and to others.

SECURITY

We care about protecting the security of your personal information, and we have implemented security procedures to protect the personal information that you provide to us. However, no method of transmitting or storing electronic data is ever completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that such information will never be accessed, used, or released in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. Some of the measures we take are:

  • Limiting access to personal information to those employees who are critical to communicating with you and/or processing user submissions.
  • Implementing appropriate physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard against unauthorized access or use.
  • Requiring appropriate consents and protections from our business partners before we share any personally identifiable information.

While we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the internet which are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through the Platform cannot be guaranteed; and (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party. Moreover, where you may be required to use passwords, or other special access features on the Platform, it is your responsibility to safeguard them.

Passive Information Collection

As you navigate through a website, certain information can be passively collected (that is, gathered without you actively providing the information) using various technologies and means, such as Internet Protocol addresses, cookies, Internet tags, and navigational data collection.

The Platform may use Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP Address is a number assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider so you can access the Internet and is generally considered to be non-personally identifiable information, because in most cases an IP address is dynamic (changing each time you connect to the Internet), rather than static (unique to a particular user’s computer). We use your IP address to diagnose problems with our server, report aggregate information, determine the fastest route for your computer to use in connecting to the Platform, and administer and improve services to our consumers.

A “cookie” is a bit of information that a website sends to your web browser that helps the site remember information about you and your preferences.

“Session cookies” are temporary bits of information that are erased once you exit your web browser window or otherwise turn your computer off. Session cookies are used to improve navigation on websites and to collect aggregate statistical information. The Platform uses session cookies.

“Persistent cookies” are more permanent bits of information that are placed on the hard drive of your computer and stay there unless you delete the cookie. Persistent cookies store information on your computer for a number of purposes, such as retrieving certain information you have previously provided (e.g., username), helping to determine what areas of the website visitors find most valuable, and customizing the website based on your preferences. The Platform will use persistent cookies.

“Internet tags” (also known as single-pixel GIFs, clear GIFs, invisible GIFs, and 1-by-1 GIFs) are smaller than cookies and tell the website server information such as the IP address and browser type related to the visitor’s computer. The Platform uses Internet tags. “Navigational data” (“log files,” “server logs,” and “clickstream” data) and “Internet Tags” are used for system management, to improve the content of the site, market research purposes, and to communicate information to visitors. The Platform uses navigational data.

Links

The Platform may contain links to websites of third parties not affiliated with Wealth Media. This Privacy Policy will not apply to these third-party websites and the Platform and Wealth Media are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content on any of these other websites, even where these third-party sites indicate a special relationship or “partnership” with the Platform. We do not disclose personally identifiable information to those responsible for these third party linked sites. These third party sites, however, may collect personal information from you when you link to their site. This collecting of information is not subject to the control of the Platform or Wealth Media. To ensure protection of your privacy, always review the privacy policies of the sites you visit by linking from the Platform.
